What we found

Research Scientific checked 20 October 2026: the bare domain researchscientific.co.uk, previously audited here, is hijacked and now serves a gambling template (first seen July 2026, still true). The same company, Research Scientific Ltd (Companies House 16181281, also trading as Nupex at nupex.co.uk), is live and trading again at this Shopify subdomain, GBP pricing, selling research peptides (Selank, Matrixyl, Dermorphin, Adipotide and others) inside a wider research-chemicals/lab-consumables catalogue. Product pages claim 'Scientifically Verified - Certificate of Analysis (COA) & HPLC Tested', '≥99% Purity' and 'Third-Party Independent Testing - Contact Us for Verification Details', but name no laboratory, and the 'View Certificate of Analysis' link on the Selank page points to https://researchscientific.co.uk/coa/PEP048.pdf, the hijacked domain, so the one certificate link it publishes is now unreachable (or worse, served from a hijacked site). No verify.janoshik.com link found anywhere checked. What would move this listing: a named laboratory with a checkable own-name certificate, and COA links fixed to point off the hijacked domain.

This is one of 3 storefronts run by the same operator. The same people also run: nupex.co.uk · researchscientific.co.uk. (both are Research Scientific Ltd (Companies House 16181281).)
"Shopping around" between these names is buying from one seller, same stock, same risk, different branding.
Bought from Research Scientific? Tell us about your order.

New Since 13 October 2026 you can tell us how your order went. Reports go up on this page from 1 November 2026, bad ones as well as good, because UK law doesn't let review sites hide negative reviews. A written note appears only after we have read it.

How buyer reports work
  • Every report is confirmed by email before it counts, and each email address can report on a seller once every 90 days.
  • We hold back anything that looks like a seller reviewing itself: an email from the seller's own domain, several reports from the same connection, or a sudden burst in a day. A person checks those before anything shows.
  • Tick-box answers are shown only as totals. A written comment appears only after a person has read it. Bad reports go up as well as good ones: UK consumer law (the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024) doesn't let review sites hide negative reviews. We only trim or hold a comment for dosing or health effects, personal details, names of other shops, or accusations we can't check.
  • Sellers can reply. If a seller disagrees with what buyers report, it can email [email protected] from its own domain, and we show one response next to the totals, with the date.
  • No single thing on this page should decide it. Look at the lab reports, the buyer reports and how you'd pay, together.
Questions people ask about Research Scientific

Is Research Scientific legit?

Research Scientific (store.researchscientific.co.uk) is on The Peptide Watch's watch list. It does not publish a certificate of analysis that can be independently verified in its own name, so its quality claims rest on trust rather than checkable evidence. That is not proof of a scam; it means the evidence does not check out.

Does Research Scientific publish a real, verifiable Certificate of Analysis?

Not one that can be independently verified in its own name. Research Scientific has relaunched its storefront at store.researchscientific.co.uk after its old domain (researchscientific.co.uk) was hijacked; its own product pages still link a 'View Certificate of Analysis' PDF back to that hijacked domain, and the certificate is self-published with no named

How do I check Research Scientific's certificate myself?

Find the certificate on store.researchscientific.co.uk and read four things: an independent laboratory is named; the client field names Research Scientific, not a supplier; the compound line names the peptide you are buying, not only a batch code; and the report opens on the laboratory's own website from its task number and key (verify.janoshik.com for Janoshik). Then compare the batch number on the report with the one on your vial. The free COA Checker on this site runs the first three checks on a photo of the certificate.
