GHRP-2 is a synthetic six-amino-acid growth hormone-releasing peptide from the early 1990s. It is approved in Japan as an injection used to diagnose growth hormone deficiency, has no approval we could find in the UK, the EU or the US, and is prohibited by name on the WADA list. Purity and identity cannot be judged by eye, so an independent certificate you can check is the only real proof of what is in the vial.

How do I check that a certificate for GHRP-2 is genuine?

A diagnostic agent in Japan, and nowhere else. GHRP-2, whose official name is pralmorelin, came out of joint research between Cyril Bowers' group at Tulane University and Kaken Pharmaceutical. Japan approved it on 22 October 2004 as GHRP Kaken 100, an injection used to diagnose growth hormone deficiency, and Kaken still sells it there. Kaken's own documents record no marketing outside Japan.
No approval in the US, the EU or the UK. It does not appear in the FDA or EMA medicines databases or on the UK's emc. The FDA lists it among bulk substances that may present significant safety risks in compounding, saying compounded GHRP-2 "may pose risk for immunogenicity due to the potential for aggregation and peptide-related impurities". Impurities are what a verifiable certificate tests for.
The published record. PubMed indexes 243 papers, 57 of them clinical-trial reports, mostly studies of growth hormone release from the 1990s and 2000s. ClinicalTrials.gov lists no study of it. The 2026 WADA Prohibited List names GHRP-2 (pralmorelin) as banned in sport at all times.
